This gallery was created after I found it was a grind to trawl the Internet looking for images of certain models of Lambretta to get inspiration for a restoration project I had recently started. I thought how much easier it would be if there was a site that had each model categories into albums of images.
Also why upload your images to somewhere like photo-bucket just to use the URLs for posting your images on various forums when you can upload them to a site solely catering for Lambretta images.
This site is an ongoing project, so we are interested in your
views and ideas for improvements.
The gallery is divided into categories containing albums for each model of lambretta and many other Lambretta related categories such as sport and memorabilia.
To view images in each album just follow the links to the images within the gallery, there are three image sizes for each image that is uploaded, thumb, medium and large. the large images can be view in two ways, flash and simple, the flash version is a little slicker than the simple version, however the simple version will show an even larger version of the image.
To change between these option use the "theme" drop down box near the top of the galley page.
Once a registered user, you can give any image a rating, comment on any image and send any image as an e card via email but most importantly you can upload images your self to the gallery.
Each registered user gets enough space on the server for about 10 images, they can be uploaded to your own gallery or to the corresponding public gallery. each image uploaded has to be accepted by the administrators/moderators before it is visible in the gallery to make sure the service is not being abused.
When registering you automatically register on the forum and gallery as the two applications are bridged.
